Born and raised in Salem, Oregon, Ms. Good earned her bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance at the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music in Stockton, CA. Ms. Good worked with songwriters in the music industry with Arista/BMG in Los Angeles before pursuing a career in musical theater and opera on the East Coast where she eventually landed in New York City. While her husband, Jay, worked as Operations Manager for the New York Philharmonic, she performed with regional orchestras and opera and theater companies. When Jay started work with The Phoenix Symphony and Arizona Musicfest, they traded Washington Heights for North Phoenix where they raised their two children, Elizabeth, and Nikolas. Ms. Good sang for eight seasons with the two-time Grammy Award-winning Phoenix Chorale and taught sixth-grade Art and Music at Scottsdale Preparatory Academy for nine years before landing in ESS here at North Phoenix Prep. She is also a certified yoga and meditation teacher and a teacher of holistic healing arts. She loves reading, restoring old furniture, fitness, animals, and outdoor adventures in the mountains and at the beach, as well as spending time with family and their two dogs, Happy and Hashbrown.
