Dance Attire - “Dressy Casual”

Attire must be in accordance within the Academy’s dress code guidelines.

Tops must extend to cover the waist and bottoms must be finger-tip length.

No spaghetti straps or strapless tops or dresses.

Boys must wear a collared shirt, tucked in to their pants with a belt.

Attire must be clean and in good repair. Jeans are permitted (no rips, tears, or holes).

No athletic or athleisure wear (gym shorts, leggings, t-shirts, short shorts, etc.).

Shoes should be appropriate for activities both inside and outside. Athletic shoes are permitted. No Crocs or slippers may be worn.

Additional Guidelines: If an item of dress or appearance is deemed in congruent with the standards of the Academy by the administration, the student must alter their dress or appearance in accordance with the administration’s directive.

Outside guests are not permitted, and there is no re-entry to the event. Please refer to the Guidelines for All Academy Social Activities in the Family Handbook, page 46.

10th Grade Field Trip to the University of Arizona

Sophomores, pack your bags for the University of Arizona’s Road Trip day event in Tucson, AZ! Students will learn about the college-going journey and explore how to pick a major that aligns with their goals. Confirm your student’s seat by paying the $10/student participation fee in the Payment Portal by Monday, February 3.

 Lunch will be provided. Students must wear an NPX spirit shirt or uniform polo with school appropriate jeans or shorts (no holes). Non-uniform, closed toe walking shoes are acceptable. Optional items to bring: water bottle, light jacket or sweatshirt, hat and/or sunscreen, snacks or cash to buy snacks, phone.

 "Bits and Pieces. Mystery, Mirth, and Mayhem from Three of Shakespeare's Greatest Plays" (It is 2 scenes from Hamlet, 2 from Twelfth Night, and 3 from Macbeth to end it out).

This is an informational meeting for 11th grade students and parents to discuss the senior year and details related to college admissions, The Senior Trip to DC, the senior thesis, curriculum choices, and expectations for our senior class.
