Junior/Senior Formal Prom 2025-2026 Dress Code Guidelines 

All attire must appropriately cover the wearers, meaning that midriffs and legs above the mid-thigh (where your fingertips fall with your hands at your side) must be covered. Strapless and spaghetti strap dresses are permissible so long as they do not expose the back below the naval line and no low-cut or revealing styles in the front. See-through garments that do not appropriately cover the body in the aforementioned areas are not permitted. Gentlemen should wear dress slacks, dress shirt and a tie. A jacket or sports coat is recommended. Jeans are not permitted.

By purchasing a ticket, all parties agree to follow North Phoenix Preparatory Academy’s behavior standards and honor code. See the family handbook for details. Students not following those standards will be asked to leave and are subject to school disciplinary policies.

Rising 6th Graders Invited! Middle School Social
Rising 6th Grade Parents,
The NPX PSO and Pantheon can’t wait to welcome your student to the Prep campus! We’re hosting a Middle School Social designed to help rising 6th graders meet new friends, have fun, and get excited for what’s ahead.
Who: Rising 6th graders + current 6th–8th graders
What: Roller skating (rental included), basketball tournament, gym games, food, and fun
When: Sunday, April 26 | 4:00–7:00 PM
Where: FLC Fitness Center @ North Phoenix Church (5757 N Central Ave)

Students Arrival time: 5 p.m. - Students must arrive dressed and with their recorders.  There will be a dress rehearsal from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.  

Performance time: 6:30 p.m.

Performers Dress Code (No performing students permitted to perform if not in dress code).  

Boys:

Black dress pants, black dress shoes (NO tennis shoes/sneakers), black socks, black belt, white long-sleeved button-down dress shirt with collar.  Long, plain, Black tie. Please check ahead of time for proper fit of all clothing items. Jewelry and accessories such as watches/bracelets should be kept to a minimum. Hair should be neatly combed and out of the face.

Girls:

Black skirt (A line/Circle skirt) or black pants with a white top (must be dressier than a T-shirt and not sheer).  Skirts must follow school dress code rules regarding length.  Girls may also choose to wear a black dress (long or knee length). For knee length dresses/skirts, opaque black tights must be worn.  All dresses/tops must have some type of sleeve; no sleeveless, off the shoulder, or thin straps are permitted.  No sheer materials.  A black sweater may be worn if top has no sleeves.  Shoes must be black dress shoes, flats or moderate heels (NO tennis shoes/sneakers).  Closed-toed flats or moderate heels are best since there will be a lot of walking/standing/walking up stairs.  No excessive hair accessories or jewelry.  Any earrings must be either studs or earrings no larger than a nickel.  Leggings are not permitted.  Hair should be worn so it is out of the face.
