INTENT FOR QUARTER 2 LEARNING

Quarter 2 will begin on Thursday, October 15th. While this may seem a ways away, we need to gather information from our families as to their learning environment choice – In Person or Distance Learning. We have already begun brainstorming various scenarios for Quarter 2 and the information you provide will give us a sense of which scenario will best fit the needs of our students and teachers.

On this survey, you will be asked to commit to either In-Person or Distance Learning for Quarter 2. Should you need more time to make your decision, please answer that question accordingly, and reach out to Ms. Jacobson or Ms. Stone for support.

Please note: You will need to complete the survey for each child that attends North Phoenix Prep (Archway students will receive a separate survey).

Please complete this survey by Friday, September 25.

Parking Reminder

Parents,

Please avoid using the parking lot of Calvary North as a turn around or as loading zone. Thank you!

 Headmaster

2020 Picture Day

September 29th is picture day for distance learners. A sign-up will be sent out soon so that you can choose your slot. This would require you to come to campus at your designated time–all necessary health precautions will be taken, but please also not that these pictures are optional.

September 30th is picture day for in-person learners. This will otherwise be a normal day.

More information will be forthcoming.

Dear Great Hearts North Phoenix families,

Tomorrow, we go LIVE Teacher Excellence Fund Telethon on Saturday, September 19th, 2020! The purpose of the Telethon is to show appreciation for our teachers and to raise money for the Teacher Excellence Fund. • Hear from students and families on why they love their North Phoenix teachers.
  • Alumnus Jordan Black stops by to discuss the lasting impact our incredible teachers and athletics program have had on his life beyond high school.

How can you support North Phoenix teachers through the Telethon?

As one of approximately 16,000 high school seniors who are Semifinalists, he will have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,600 National Merit Scholarships to be offered next spring.
