Campus Tours

Now through summer is a great time to tour college campuses! Encourage your student to complete a Campus Visit Score Card during each tour to capture your family’s experience and impressions. Notes from your campus tour can provide valuable insights to strengthen your supplemental essays for future college applications—especially for prompts like “Why are you applying to this college?” or “Why this major?”

Reach out to the admissions office of the colleges you’re interested in to schedule your campus tours. Many schools offer specific tour times, so plan your itinerary accordingly. If possible, try to visit when classes are in session to get a true sense of campus life.
